Stage One at Harris Center for the Arts tickets & upcoming events

If you’ve ever been to the Harris Center for the Arts, you’ve probably noticed Stage One buzzing with energy, especially during its annual film festival that spotlights indie filmmakers from all over. It’s a lively hub where creativity really comes alive, and locals love it for that reason. The space isn’t just about films, it’s also a hub for student performances, community displays, and art shows. Walking into the lobby, you’re greeted with vibrant artwork from local artists, which really adds that artsy vibe. One of the coolest spots is the rear back mezzanine, from up there, you get an almost bird’s eye view of the stage, which really makes performances pop, especially dance or choreography acts. If you’re new to the area, honestly, a quick map app is your friend because the layout can be a little confusing at first. And don’t worry, the Harris Center is super focused on making everything accessible, with clear pathways for everyone. Whether you're there for a film screening, a student showcase, or a community art event, Stage One always manages to feel welcoming and lively, it’s honestly a hidden gem in Folsom that keeps surprising me every time I visit.
